Top 3 in the UK Finals

Belfast High School’s Young Enterprise Company, Offshore, helped clean up the local beaches by collecting sea glass and turning it into art.

At the virtual UK finals in June, Offshore was named as the UK Company of the Year Runner Up, an amazing achievement and only the second time in the competition’s history that a team from Northern Ireland has been placed in the top 3 in the UK Finals.

P6/7 are taking part in the @YE_NI programme. They were learning what a business and an entrepreneur was. They then researched about logos and slogans, each team then worked collaboratively to complete the challenge to build the tallest tower. Great fun, and super learning.
