What is a YE Business Backer?

It’s takes a community to raise a child, and we are asking the business community to get behind the young people of Northern Ireland. To develop their enterprise and entrepreneurship skills after a year of disruption. You are the missing piece of the puzzle that will allow us to do more.

We have the desire to see every young person in Northern Ireland run at least one business by the time they leave school. The impact this could have on our economy – not to mention all the real-world skills students would leave school with – is just incredible.

Currently 90,000 young people take part in our programmes. This is one third of school age children in Northern Ireland, meaning two thirds go through school without having the opportunity to learn business skills with us and encounter entrepreneurship. Our goal is to make that 3 in 3.

How can you support?

As businesses you are the missing part of the puzzle. We are asking for your financial support of only Β£400 pa.

In return you will raise your profile among young people, their families and their educators, and ensure that young people don’t miss out of the all important employment skills we all need to shape the future workforce here in Northern Ireland. Will you join us? Please sign up to register above or get in touch with Jan Donaldson directly on 028 9026 7103 or e-mail
