Young Enterprise understands that the world our young people are stepping into is always changing. Our school programmes make sure young people learn the skills they need to be creative, business-savvy, and ready for whatever comes their way. Kilwaughter Minerals Ltd, like us, are committed to this mission, showing a passion for volunteering within school throughout the local community.

Kilwaughter Minerals Ltd’s generous donation of £10,000 is a testament to its commitment to driving positive change. This contribution will enable 1000 young people to participate in Young Enterprise’s transformative school programmes, equipping them with essential entrepreneurial, enterprise, and financial skills.

When asked about Kilwaughter Minerals Ltd’s pledge to Young Enterprise, Carol Fitzsimons MBE expressed:

“We are delighted that Kilwaughter Minerals Ltd has made the decision to become a YE ESG Business Backer. Seeing how committed they have been to volunteering in schools and the passion that they have for young people, I am confident that we will see amazing work be done in the Larne area.”

“Through Young Enterprise, we have already engaged with schools including Larne Grammar, Larne High, Ulidia Integrated College and Cullybackey College, and look forward to extending that to Cambridge House and Carrickfergus Academy in the coming months.

“As a result, we’ve seen first hand the positive and practical impact that Young Enterprise makes on the lives of young people as we seek to empower the next generation of workers and entrepreneurs.”
