Young Enterprise named Irish News Workplace & Employment Awards Finalist
We are delighted to be shortlisted as a finalist in the Irish News Workplace & Employment Awards for 2016. It is the 10th anniversary of the awards this year, and it has already broken all records
with an increasing amount of entries making it the most competitive year to date.
The glittering black-tie dinner will be hosted in the iconic Titanic Belfast on Thursday 16th June. The night will be compered by BBC journalist Karen Patterson and the guest speaker is Northern Ireland-born entrepreneur Alyson Hogg, founder of Vita Liberata tanning technology, who will share her phenomenal success story.
Young Enterprise has a successful history with the Irish News Workplace & Employment Awards, having won the career inspiration award for two years running. This year, we are finalists in 2 categories; Career Inspiration and Workplace Excellence. The Career Inspiration award focuses on strong initiatives between business and educational organisations and look at what steps they are taking (individually or jointly) to enable young people to achieve the critical initial steps towards their career ambitions. The Workplace Excellence award will recognise organisations which set themselves apart in terms of demonstrating best workplace practice.
We are looking forward to an exciting night to recognise organisations and businesses that continue to look to the assets and strengths of their people, whom they must nurture and develop so that they are performing to their optimum level.
