Company Programme (KS4)
What is Company Programme?
Young Enterprise NI’s flagship entrepreneurship programme with over 1,000 students participating between the ages of 15 to 19 years. Company Programme gives students first-hand experience of setting up and running their own real business.
From devising a product concept, development of the actual product, creating a business plan, raising capital, marketing and management of all major business functions, the Company Programme is a comprehensive all round business experience.
Business Volunteer Support
All this takes place with the support of a business volunteer who brings a wealth of business knowledge and expertise. A range of resources are provided to help manage the company.
Teams track their progress using self assessment tools and even compete against other schools in local, regional and national competitions.
Students are covered by Young Enterprise Public Liability Insurance. Up to 25 students per company.
Interactive Milestone Map
This Milestone Map consists of 8 videos providing you with an overview of each step (milestone) of the Company Programme experience.
Running throughout one academic year, students make all the decisions about their enterprise, from deciding on the name and product to creating a business plan, managing the student company finances and selling to the public at trade fairs.
