Back to School, Back to Business
We are ready to support schools
As young people and schools return, Young Enterprise understands the challenges they face will need a new approach.
As the leading Enterprise Education Charity in Northern Ireland, Young Enterprise is dedicated to nurturing young people, helping prepare them to achieve in a transformed world.
We are ready to support schools to ensure that young people will be provided with Young Enterprise experiences in a way that is most appropriate to a revised delivery model. This includes new online delivery options, staff supported delivery and the launch of our own Learning Management System β YE Academy.
Evolve & Adapt
In preparing for the new term, Carol Fitzsimons, MBE, Chief Executive said,
βIt is important to us that students get the opportunity to develop enterprise skills, hear from local business volunteers and become competent in the skills that employers want to see. This means communication, collaboration, decision making, problem solving and more. These are the skills that employers have needed to help them evolve and adapt throughout the pandemic, and we want to ensure that regardless of what the return to school looks like, that young people will get the chance to develop these skills and gain exposure to experiences of work.β
