YANA takes top prize at the Big Market!
The Young Enterprise Big Market returned to St George’s Market on Wednesdsy 7th December and was a roaring success.
There were 60 companies, over 500 young entrepreneurs, over 30 volunteer judges and hundreds of pounds spent, and nine awards handed out!
The coveted Best Company Award went to YANA from Priory Integrated College who created a range of bracelets that feature inspiring and uplifting messages. ‘YANA’ standing for ‘you are not alone’, aims to bring hope to people who are struggling with mental health concerns, providing kind words in times of need. The company also offers a ‘buy on-give one’ scheme where the customer receives an extra bracelet to give some a friend or family member in need. Customers can also choose to donate their extra bracelet to a bereaved family which YANA will do on their behalf.

The Big Market Trade Fairs!
Following the huge success of the Big Market, it now is schedule to go on the road across six of Northern Ireland’s leading shopping destinations in February 2023!
The Big Market Trade Fairs will kick off at Belfast’s CastleCourt on Wednesday 1st February before moving on to Main Street Omagh and Bloomfield Shopping Centre on Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd February respectively.
The following week, the Big Market Trade Fairs will arrive in Abbey Centre in Newtownabbey on Wednesday 8th February, then to Rushmere in Craigavon and Derry-Londonderry’s Foyleside Shopping Centre on Thursday 9th and Friday 10th February respectively.
Young Enterprise is inviting its Business Backers to get involved with the Big market Trade Fairs and show their support by either attending or giving their time and expertise to the student companies.
