Young Enterprise welcomes EY as Company Programme patron
Young Enterprise has announced EY as a Company Programme Patron for the 2021/22 academic year. The Young Enterprise Company Programme runs every year in schools across Northern Ireland and allows students to create a unique business, then produce, promote and sell their products or services with support from a business mentor.
Speaking about the collaboration, Young Enterprise Chief Executive, Carol Fitzsimons MBE said:
“It is so important for us to have the support of a global brand in EY with a strong local presence to help us to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs through our Company Programme. With EY’s support the Company Programme will give our students access to an unmatched entrepreneurship education that is practical and supports the development of so many sought-after skills for life and work.”
Cary Wilson, EY Strategy and Transactions Partner said:
“Supporting the Young Enterprise Company Programme is the perfect vehicle for us to get hands-on with the development of our future business leaders and nurture the next generation of our workforce.
“Together with Young Enterprise, we aim to inspire young people to create the innovative businesses that will drive Northern Ireland forward, create local jobs and support our economy for generations. We are proud to be building a better working world through our support for this important programme.”
