Follow in Rory’s footsteps & support Young Enterprise
Holywood Golf Club
Tuesday 22nd September 2015, 1pm
Local charity Young Enterprise is calling on Northern Ireland’s golfers to support its first fundraising Golf Day to be held at the home of Rory McIlroy, Holywood Golf Club, on Tuesday 22nd September.
Northern Ireland comedy legend John Linehan, the man behind May McFettridge, will be taking to the course and hosting a special lunch with a raffle and auction with all proceeds supporting the work of Young Enterprise across Northern Ireland.
Young Enterprise works with young people aged from 4-25 through a series of entrepreneurship and skills programmes that raise their aspirations and confidence to succeed in life and in work.
The charity currently reaches 100,000 young people each year, and in the last academic year supported 300 businesses started by young people aged as young at 10.
Young Enterprise Fundraising Manager Jennifer McGivern commented “For every £10 raised we can offer a young person the chance to explore and develop their skills through a hands-on business experience. We want to make Northern Ireland one of the most entrepreneurial places on the planet, and with the funds raised from this event we can take another step towards that goal.
“Tickets are just £200 per fourball, and there will be special prizes awarded on what we’re sure will be an exciting day. So gather your friends and colleagues and join us for a round at the home of Rory McIlroy.”
